Vs. 1-I'm in this race by His grace keep my pace to the finish line/I 'm goin harder and farther for the Father I'll finish mine/and when they talk bout me cuz I know they gonna do it/I press in to be a blessin cuz my Father see me through it/errytime I preach the Cross the lost are drawn to it/ They may fight me but they'll call me NIKE cuz I just do it/I been straining & training & now my aiming's never waning/ Poppin the block with the rock cant stop the flock He's arranging/Whether I'm in the booth or a store I'm gonna spit the truth of The Lord/You'll see me staying and praying cutting them loose with the Sword/They done been noosed by the goose and they been gone with patrone/thats why we calling em home but their stuck living in rome/ and they been stacking up charges living in lack and lethargic/We can see where they at cuz they still got stacks of that garbage/While they stacking up garbage I'm looking back at the martyrs/Wondering how to go harder and bring em all back to the Father
Vs. 2-On your mark...get set...go/ We gotta tell the good news to all of the hood dudes after this show/What good is it for us to speak this preach this teach this if we ain't reachin a soul/I don't know but I know Jesus died and paid our toll/Now we walking on the narrow road never led by pheromones/I am nothing special just a vessel praise Him through a megaphone/The first time He called me I put him on hold with a dialtone/He never stopped calling though I'm hardwired like a telephone/I started off crawling from my sin & now it is my steppingstone/Throwing off the weight that keeps me away from my Father's throne/I'm approaching the throne of grace with freedom and confidence/I'm not here to please men or receive all them compliments/ being a man of God is what I strive to accomplish and/ I won't never compromise I'm staying God honorin an We gon give it all we got until the day we see our Pop cuz on the day we see our Pop we know our sinning's gonna stop
Vs. 3-Can you tell me what you runnin this race for/to embrace His grace seek His face more/Is it for your glory/is it for His story who He came & died and took that place for/Jump in the race then run for the faith cuz the world's so cold it'll numb ya face/It'll run your place and stunt your faith till you can't even tell your under grace/Your under grace now run the race you gotta keep goin cuz the Son awaits/All the ones who the Son abates was livin dumb before they was under grace/now they overcome for the one who waits/ patiently for the ones who run the race/they say ya dumb for the one you chase but continue to run for the SON of GRACE/
